"Ellesmera" is the first and alone Japanese bobtail cattery in Baltic countries, situated in Estonia, Tallinn. Cattery is registered in FIF-e. Our stars are IC YUKI-USAGI KAGURA (Japan) and IC TIMIAN'S TAKESHI (Denmark).
YUKI-USAGI KAGURA – the first SHOW Japanese bobtail cat in Baltic countries. Her parents are the 2-nd best in this breed. We have found out this breed only 3 years ago and since then Japanese bobtail has lodged in our hearts! We have grown fond of this breed: for its unique character, for its temperament, for its grace with combination of force, for fidelity and tenderness. We are engaged u-shu and study China and Japan culture, and these cats as a doubtless part of culture of the country of a rising sun could not leave us indifferent anymore!
3 years we collected information of breed, learned catteries and the best representatives of breed. We have chosen the known cattery YUKI-USAGI (owner Yukiko Terashima) and after some time has appeared a kitty approaching to us in the summer 2008. Kagura has subdued us: stunned, outstanding kitten with sign of butterfly on a muzzle looked at us from photos. And we have counted it as a happy sign! Kagura has made brave flight from Japan to Denmark, and therefrom already to us to Estonia in October.
She is wonderful show class cat. But for us it’s not important how many victories and titles Kagura will win, we will love her all the same. For its originality, clockwork character, curiosity, tenderness and fidelity, friendship with our other animals!
We do not put commercial objectives. We very wish to develop this breed in our country – Estonia, and we will do for it so much as we can. People should know about such rare and fine breed, they can touch to the culture of Japan through a small animal – cat.
Kagura will bring wonderful kittens in the future and we sincerely believe that they will fall into the good hands of people who will fall in love into this rare, surprising and amazing breed – Japanese bobtail!
Kagura got Champion title in August 2009.
Already in September she got International Champion title.

Timian’s Takeshi is from Denmark and he came to Estonia on summer 2009. His parents are: mother Benhana Fujiko (International Champion, Canada) and father Kiddlyn’s Majutsu (International Champion, UK).
Takeshi has been chosen specially for Kagura. On a phenotype he is the typical European representative of Japanese bobtail breed. Takeshi is very tender and talkative. And its sad-thoughtful eyes have won many hearts of judges at exhibitions! Takeshi excellently is able to hunt, proving it on butterflies flying in a garden. He is kind and friendly. In a word the present cat-partner!
Takeshi got Champion title in august 2009. In November 2009 he got International Champion title.
